Although good food and wine can be found in all regions of France, some regions are popular even outside France. One of the most iconic wine areas of France is Bordeaux. Bordeaux is a region that surrounds the city of Bordeaux. This region is known for producing for top-quality red wines. The cuisine in the area is influenced by both the countryside and the nearby Atlantic. Bordeaux is the top producing wine region in France.

Another region known for it’s wine and cuisine is Burgundy. Burgundy, also known as the C te D’Or, has a reputation for producing high quality red and white wines They also produce some of the most expensive wine in the world. The Burgundy region is surrounded by the countryside to the east and the Alps to the West which also influences the cuisine. The gastronomic cuisine that Lyon is famous for complements the wine grown in this region.

The third most recognized region in France for Gastronomy and Vinology is Champagne. This region is where the practice of creating champagne originated. Only sparkling wine created in this region has the right to be called ‘champagne’. Champagne is easily accessible for Paris by taking a TGV to Reims where many wine tasting tours begin.

Enjoying the pleasures of shopping for and buying french champagne is every wine drinkers dream. Finding a great french wine to drink at a social occasion can be a dream come true. By adequately preparing to shop for and buy french wine you can be ensured that it is a positive and pleasant experience.
You probably won’t find the wine your looking for at your local liquor or grocery store. While cheaper french champagne may be available at these locations, shops that specialize in wine will have a much more diverse and authentic collection. This may not even reflect a higher price, but simply a better selection at these specialty locations.
Determine some prospective brands of french champagne to buy that others have had good things to say about. Ask your friends and family or simply do some research online. Even a conversation with a wine salesman at a specialty store will suffice. It’s just important that you do some preliminary research about french champagne instead of making a blind purchase.
Once you find and purchase a great french champagne it’s time to sit down and enjoy a class. Serve it chilled or at room temperature, noting to drink it slowly to savor the taste.

France is magical. Anyone who has been to France will tell you it is one of the most enchanting and beautiful places on the planet. There are many things to do in France. You can hike. You can eat and drink like a king. You can swim in rivers, lakes, or the oceans. You can ride on trains. You can explore history. One of the most enchanting things to do in France, however, is to enjoy the art museums. France is full of art.

Of course, the most famous museum in all of France, and maybe all the world is the Louvre.I found some more information here. The Louvre is home to Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and many other beautiful art works. You can zip through the Louvre and see many beautiful paintings and sculptures, or you can spend days and days soaking in all of the beauty that is both French and world art. Not only are the paintings and sculptures in the Louvre beautiful, but the architecture of the building and the surrounding fountains are incredible as well. You can sit down at the fountains and enjoy an ice cream cone while pondering on the structure of the museum as well.

You will not want to miss the art in France.
